Jaya Counsel was founded with a simple observation: most consulting work is designed around what firms want to sell, not what businesses actually need. The result is engagements that run longer than necessary, produce reports that sit unread, and charge for time rather than outcomes.
We started differently. Every engagement at Jaya Counsel is time-bound, scoped clearly, and ends with deliverables your team can use independently. We work alongside business owners and leadership teams — not in front of them.
Our roots are in Ipoh. We understand the realities of running a Malaysian business: the pressures on cash flow, the complexity of family-owned structures, the gap between having a vision and knowing how to act on it. That context shapes everything we do.
Since our founding, we have worked with businesses across Perak, Selangor, and the Klang Valley — in professional services, light manufacturing, education, retail, and property. The industries vary. The underlying challenges rarely do.
